Phase I, a specified number of prototypes shall be built. During phase II, afive (5) year production contract will be awarded for the remanufacture of 8,000 USMC vehicles. Additional Navy and/or Army vehicles may be accommodating. This procu rement will be a remanufacture with technology insertion, of M809 and M939/a1 series 5 ton tactical trucks.
