58 -- ONE ON ONE'' SESSIONS WITH INDUSTRY PRIOR TO RELEASE OF DRAFT RFP DOCUMENTS FOR THE CARGO UTILITY GPS RECEIVER (CUGR). SOL DAAB07- POC Mr. Lawrence A. Asch, Contracting Officer, (908)532-5486. ''The Contracting Officer announces ''One-On-One'' sessions with industry prior to release of Draft RFP Documents for the Cargo Utility GPS receiver (CUGR). The CUGR is the Government's objective GPS solution for the UH-1, AH-1 and OH-58C fleets for services beyond the year 2000. The CUGR shall provide PPS operation (in a spoofing environment) and be fully compatible with the DOD GPS User Equipment. The CUGR shall provide L1 and L2 operation, weigh less than four (4) pounds and have a displacement volume of less than 100 cubic inches. One-on-One sessions will be scheduled for Sept 28 and 29 1995. These briefings will be conducted in the CECOM Bid Room and an overhead projector will be made available. Companies will be allowed 1 1/4 hours each to present their possible product offerings. Times will be scheduled on a first-come-first-served basis.
