The MU-1094/G is a removable 540-MB hard disk drive used in the AN/UYK-100 Network Planning Terminal of the Mobile Suscriber Equipment (MSE) system. The potential quantity is 40. The current source for the item is C3 Inc. (p/n 03267-08-005 and associated ancilliary equipment). Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of the item is not available from the Government. Suppliers capable of furnishing this item must so indicate by writing to Commander, CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-ED-MS-3 (J. Allen), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if supplier was vendor to the current source or statment from the current source demonstrating that the supplier can in fact, supply an item that will be form, fit, physically, and functionally interchangeable with the item that the current source supplies for this NSN. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
