Battelle Memorial Institute has been tasked by Warner AFB (WR-ALC/LY-2), under its DEP Contract task, Common Avionics Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) Product Improvement, to evaluate the current USAF avionics suites to determine items requiring replacement. Battelle is requesting that any manufacturer of avionics equipment provide information on their candidate replacements to the current USAF fleet's avionics. This includes current products as well as products under development. Battelle wishes to gather data from US and foreign manufacturers. Candidate products that may be considered include commercial avionics equipments, foreign avionics equipments, military products (common modules, common displays), and COTS avionics and ruggedized COTS components (backplane bus products, microprocessor boards, memory boards, I/O boards, power supplies, displays, and sensors).
