Specifications: Germination no less than 90% Classification no less
than Certified 99.0% pure, other crop 0.45%, weed seed 0.15%, inert
ingredients 0.40%, noxious weeds 0.0%; Seed must be pre-treated with a
live bacteria inoculant with an expiration date of no earlier than
June 1, 1996; Seed must have been grown in Montana, Idaho, Oregon,
Washington, or Northern California; Seed must be accompanied by a Seed
Grower's Certificate. Packaging: 50-lb. per bag (22.7 kg), additional
poly bag over original package; seed specifications on the original
package; with USAID logo on each overbag. In addition the variety name
must be indicated on each poly bag. Palletized shrink wrapped. Pallets
must be labeled with external documentation with lot numbers and
variety identification. Offers must be CIF Yerevan. Ocean
transportation to Poti/Batumi, Georgia, to be on a U.S. liner. (If no
U.S. liners are available, suppliers may use non-U.S. (Geographic Code
935) flag vessels by obtaining a waiver from USAID Washington, Office
of Procurement, Transportation Div., tel: (703) 875-1300 attn: Steve
Kinsley.) Inland transportation (via truck or rail) to Yerevan to be on
a through bill of lading issued by the steamship line. Point of
destination is Armenian Technology Group, Inc., Bagramian Blvd. #3,
Yerevan, Armenia. Suppliers must indicate best shipping schedule for
arrival at point of destination on or before November 10, 1995. Payment
shall be made by ATG based upon a bank note, payable against
presentation to a US bank. Payment will be made upon receipt of: *
Certificate of weight accepted by ATG; * Proforma invoice which
provides the details of the alfalfa seed and packaging; * Seed Grower's
Certificate, verifying that the alfalfa seed and bagging meet U.S. seed
industry specs; * Each bag of alfalfa seed has an attached seed label
of identification; * Phyto-Sanitary Certificate; * Bill of lading.
Issuance Date: September 22, 1995. Offer Deadline: October 6, 1995. To
