Restoration Program (DERP) for Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS). Work
consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all plant, labor, and
equipment to demolish three underground former NIKE missile launch bays
and site clean-up. Project work consists of demolishing three
reinforced concrete former NIKE missile launch bays, approximately 80'
x 70' x 18'; concrete and bituminous pavement removal; asbestos
materials removal; general debris removal and site grading; and misc.
incidental work. The estimated magnitude in terms of physical
characteristics and estimated price range between $250,000 and
$500,000. This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small
Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100- 656.
SIC Code - 1795 (for informational purposes only, the size standard for
this SIC code is $7 million). Plans and specifications for this project
are expected to be available about October 6, 1995, with bid opening on
or about November 6, 1995. Charge for the documents is $30 for full
size plans and specifications, $15.00 for half size plans and
specifications, or $10.00 for a copy of the specifications without
plans. The documents may be obtained by mailing your check to the
Contracting Division (address as listed above) specifying Sol. No.
