Managed Care Support Contract, Health Service Region 1. The requirement is for a 7 month transition period with five one year options for health care delivery. Start-work date is scheduled for May 1, 1997. The contract will be firm fixed-price. Offeror will be required to develop region wide networks of health care providers. Area of coverage includes the states of Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Northern Virginia. Formal source selection procedures will be used with competitive proposals. A pre-proposal conference will be held in the Denver, CO area prior to the solicitation closing.
