Z -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR ASBESTOS AND LEAD ABATEMENT FOR POSTAL FACILITIES IN THE WESTERN AREA SOL 072976-96-A-0002 DUE 110695 POC Jae B. Pak, Purchasing Specialist, (303) 220-6541. Indefinite quantity construction contract for asbestos and lead abatement services at USPS facilities in the Western Area. Term of the contract will be for two years and multiple awards are contemplated. Initial contract value of the contract(s) will be $250,000, and the Postal Service reserves the option to increase the potential value of the contract(s) in increments of $250,000. Additional consent of surety will be required for each incremental increase. Offerors will be required to submit a multiplier that will apply equally to all unit line items. Work may be performed in any USPS owned or leased facility in Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Award(s) will be made to responsible offeror(s) whose proposal offers the best value to the Postal Service in any state or combination of states. Factors to be considered in the evaluation of offers for award are: abatement experience, resources, references, and current and projected workload. Solicitation packages will be available on or about October 2, 1995. Request for packages must be accompanied by a NON-REFUNDABLE cashier's check or Postal money order for $25.00 per set, made payable to: Disbursing Officer, USPS, and referencing the Solicitation Number. Since this is a request for proposals, offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any one offer, or relative standing of the offeror will not be disclosed to anyone until after award of a contract is made and the request is submitted in writing.
