Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate with Hughes Missile Systems Company (HMSC), P.O. Box 11337, Tuscon, AZ, 85734-1337, for Composite Capsule Launching System (C/CLS) Gas Generator Improvements. This effort includes the removal, replacement, and recertification of approximately 50 gas generator propellant grains and initiators. HMSC is currently the only firm possessing the required technical knowledge, personnel, and access to the missiles and test equipment necessary to complete the effort in the required timeframe. - NAVAIR Synopsis No. 70117-95.
