RUSSIAL, (215)697-9671 The FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia intends to acquire various quantities of Glenair Inc. Fittings, including, but not limited to, conduits, collars, adapters and end fittings from Glenair Inc. This will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract with delivery to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Patuxent River, St. Inigoes, MD. Period of performance will be from date of award through 30 Sep 1996 with four (1) year options. This proposed contract action is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Glenair, Inc. and any of their known dealers under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This firm is considered the only firm capable of providing the required items needed to upgrade existing Glenair cables. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting tehcnical and pricing information within 45 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
