base operations support of Columbus AFB, MS. Services required are in
the functional areas of (1) Civil Engineering, to include Maintenance
of Military Family Housing, Lodging and Linen Exchange; (2) Supply, to
include Fuels Management; and (3) Transportation, to include Vehicle
Operations. There are no environmental remediation requirements. In
functional area 1, the contractor is required to provide all personnel,
equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services
necessary to: operate, service and maintain real property: furnish
entomology services; furnish utility services; accomplish in-service
construction; provide and participate in base emergency and disaster
recovery exercises; maintain applicable civil engineering series
regulations and publications; maintain military family housing; operate
the base lodging facilities including Visiting Airman's Quarters,
Visiting Officer's Quarters, Temporary Lodging Facilities/Houses, Alert
Facility; and operate the Linen Exchange. In functional area 2, the
contractor is required to provide all personnel, equipment, tools,
materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to
perform the base supply function under the Standard Base Supply System,
including Fuels Management services. In functional area 3, the
contractor is also required to provide all personnel, equipment, tools,
materials supervision, and other items and services necessary to
perform transportation services, including Traffic Management, Vehicle
Maintenance, Vehicle Operations, and mobility/contingency operations.
The period of performance is anticipated to be 1 Apr 97 through 30 Sep
97, with four one-year pre-priced options and a six month option to
extend services. The place of performance is Columbus AFB, Mississippi.
A fixed-price incentive fee contract with award fee is anticipated for
the Civil Engineering function and fixed-price with award fee
contracts are anticipated for the Supply and Transportation functional
areas. THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The SIC
code is 8744. If the A-76 study favors contract award for each
funcional area, an award for any combinaion of functional areas, or one
contract award for all areas, may be made. Contractors are also
notified that there will be no contract award if Government performance
is determined to be more advantageous. Cost of the solicitation package
is $25. which is non-refundable. Interested firms should submit their
