Activity (T-ASA) proposes to establish a requirements contract for
engineering/technical services to include furnishing and installing for
a wide range of audio/visual, visual presentation, electronic imaging
systems, CATV/MATV headend/distribution and production facilities
systems for DoD activities located throughout the United States. TASA
intends to award multiple Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (task
order) contracts from this solicitation to firms selected through a
Best Value analysis process. Selected contractors will be issued task
orders to perform site surveys; prepare detailed design and engineering
packages; and furnish and install complete ''turnkey'' systems with
associated operator/maintenance training. To more fully inform
potential offerors of the scope of these efforts and to obtain industry
feedback prior to issuance of the RFP, a presolicitation conference is
tentatively scheduled for October 18, 1995 at T-ASA, Mather, CA.
Offerors who express interest in this effort prior to October 4, 1995
will receive an abbreviated copy of the Statement of Work for review
and comment prior to or at the conference. Attendance at the conference
is not required. Contractors who are interested in attending the
pre-solicitation conference must confirm their attendance in writing no
later than October 12, 1995. Facsimile confirmation is acceptable. The
acquisition will be 100% set aside for small businesses (Standard
Industrial Classification Code 3663, size standard is 750 employees).
This requirement will not be synopsized again. All responders to this
synopsis will receive the RFP, including the Statement of Work, which
is scheduled to be issued in November 1995. All requests for the
solicitation package must be in writing, no telephone requests will be
accepted. Facsimile requests are acceptable. All responsible sources
may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. FAX
