SWIZEWSKI, (215)697-9635 The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, ''Only One Responsible Source'', with Southwestern Bell Telecom, San Antonio, TX, the owner of the cable plant facilities at NAS Corpus Christi, TX. This cable plant is being replaced with Government owned fiber optic cable, and this requirement is for the identification of cable pairs in Southwestern Bell Telecom's cable plant. Only Southwestern Bell Telecom can provide these services. All responsible sources may submit concise documentation as to their ability to supply the required equipment, as well as financial and technical information which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk Det Philadelphia. If no affirmative written responses advantageous to the Navy are received within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice, a request for quotation will be issued to Southwestern Bell Telecom. Note, no contract award will be made on the basis of information received to this notice. Further, the Navy will not pay for any information provided.
