Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment required to perform all work in strict accordance with specifications, schedules, and drawings for the construction of a new 10,200 square foot Fire Station and demolition of the offsite existing Fire Station. The new fire station consists of a five bay wide, double bay deep apparatus room with a clear span rigid frame structure with steel columns and trusses with purlins, decking and standing seam roofing. Support space includes a single story wing housing administrative offices, alarm control room, dining and kitchen area and bunk rooms. The one story wing is masonry veneer construction and metal stud interior wall framing. The roof is steel bar joists with plywood decking and standing seam metal roofing. Exterior materials are face brick, storefront and metal panels. Estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. A non-refundable check of $50.00 made payable to the A&FO, Maxwell AFB, AL is required for each set of plans and specifications.
