The GPS Joint Program Office will convene a Pre Proposal conference at Los Angeles Air Force Base, 2435 Vela Way, Bldg. 120, GPS Conference Room on Thursday, 5 Oct 95, at 0900. The purpose of this conference is to provide a GAS-1 status briefing and forum for questions and answers to the resulting RFP issued on 31 Aug 95. The government will provide a presentation on the RFP and indicate items that have changed since the issuance of the Draft RFP. The core of the conference will consist of questions and topics identified by the contractors. Potential Offerors are encouraged to submit questions and topics for discussion prior to the conference. Potential Offeror proposed issues for discussion should be faxed to the attention of Capt. Rene Almaraz (310) 363-3844, or mailed to: SMC/CZK, 2435 Vela Way, Suite 1613, Los Angeles AFB, CA 90245-5500. The limitation on the number of attendees is five persons per company. The conference will present classified material, with a classification level of Secret.
