PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - The work includes construction of an approximately 9,200 square feet expansion to existing Building 1139. Building systems include steel framed second floor and roof with concrete masonary exterior walls; multiple split system heat pumps with interior fan coil units; toilet and shower facilities; normal power and lighting; special UPS, Emergency, IDS, and ACS systems. Relocation of existing site utilities, generally balanced site excavation and fill and parking paving is required. Interior modification and remodeling of similiar existing systems is involved complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.--Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is approximately 450 calendar days.--This proposed contract will be unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1542 and the annual size standard is $17 million. It is recommended the subcontracting goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting effort.
