This is a market survey by the Department of the Army to determine the existence of additional sources for the maintenance support to the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS). An urgent requirement now exists for the continuation of these current supporting services which are being provided to the Government by General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS), Tallahassee, Florida under contract DAAB07-93-D-G253. The continued maintenance support is required for both production and developmental efforts involving the SINCGARS Integrated Communications Security (ICOM) and SINCGARS Improvement Program (SIP). These efforts are in support of equipment developed and produced under contracts DAAB07-88-C-T026, DAAB07-94-C-C402, DAAB07-95-C-C502, DAAB07-93-C-G252 and DAAB07-95-C-C251 by GDLS. These maintenance services require the source to provide the necessary materials and facilities to repair, overhaul, troubleshoot, upgrade, refurbish ''like-new'', analyze as appropriate and/or otherwise support those equipment, assemblies and/or parts of the SINCGARS with little or no Government assistance and data within a specific timeframe. The prospective source would be required to possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the design and capabilities of all SINCGARSs. The Government does not possess configuration control of the necessary documentation and system level drawings.
