Notethe HITS RFP No. DCA300-96-R-0001 was previously released under the Draft RFP No.DCA300-95-R-0001. The solicitation release date is on or about 20 October 1995. Thesolicitation closing date for receipt of proposals is on or about 18 January 1996 (this date maychange and will be definitized in the final solicitation). The Government is contemplatingissuance of a firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery contract combining two indefinite-deliverycontract types: (1) Requirements; and (2) Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ). HITSwill not include an award fee provision. The Government will be charging a fee for the finalsolicitation based on the desired formats as follows: (1) floppy diskettes - $75.00; and (2) papercopy - $250.00. The charge for the final solicitation will be a onetime charge and will cover allcosts associated with release of anticipated solicitation amendments. All interested vendorsmust issue a check written to the U.S. Department of Treasury for the final solicitation andforward with your request to: DITCO-PAC/DTP2, Suite 2, Building C, 2nd Floor, 99-080Kauhale Street, Aiea, HI 96701-4104. If your firm has not already submitted a currentStandard Form 129, Solicitation Mailing List Application, please include a completed form withyour request. Please also confirm the desired solicitation distribution format (e.g., floppydiskette or paper). The electronic documents on the floppy diskette will be in Microsoft WordVersion 2.0c and Microsoft Excel Version 5.0 formats. Telephonic and facsimile requests areunacceptable. Please reference DITCO-PAC Synopsis No. 95-0006-HITS in your correspondence. The Government shall also conduct a Preproposal Conference and SiteSurveys. The preproposal conference will be held on the island of Oahu with site surveys beingconducted both on the island of Oahu and the outer islands. The commencement date for thepreproposal conference/site surveys is on or about 6 November 195 with an estimatedcompletion date of on or about 26 November 1995. Request your firm provide the followinginformation if you are interested in participating in the conference/site surveys to this office by 6October 1995: (1) number and name of participants by each respective firm to include anysubcontractors; (2) citizenship; (3) date of birth; (4) place of birth; (5) social security number;and (6) level of security clearance as well as company facility clearance. The Governmentreserves the right to limit the number of persons participating in the preproposal conference/sitesurveys from each firm. Interested vendors shall be responsible for lodging on the island ofOahu. The Government will reserve a block of rooms for lodging on the outer islands. Furtherdetails on the preproposal conference/site surveys will be identified in the solicitation at SectionL. Your firm will be responsible to verify any changes to the preproposal conference/sitesurveys as noted in Section L of the final solicitation.
