notification has been received in GATT Document TBT/Notification
G/95.256 dated 22 August 1995. 1. Member to agreement notifying:
Netherlands. If applicable, name of local government involved (Articles
3.2 and 7.2): 2. Agency responsible: Ministry of Transport and Public
Works. 3. Notified under Article 2.9.2. 4. Products covered (HS or CCCN
where applicable, otherwise national tariff heading. ICS numbers may be
provided in addition, where applicable): radio link equipment intended
for transmitting and receiving digital signal and analogue video
signals in the 18 GHZ band. 5. Title and number of pages of the
notified document: Specification of Conformity for Radio Equipment SV
04-06: radio link equipment operating in the 18 GHZ band. 6.
Description of content: this draft contains minimum requirements with
which the said radio link equipment shall comply. The above is useful,
amongst other things, as a link between GSM-base stations and the
telecommunications infrastructure. 7. Objective and rationale: the
objective of the draft minimum requirements is to ensure that equipment
is tested by recognized inspectorates based in the European member
states or EFTA countries which are co-signatories to the treaty on the
European economic area and is approved by appointed bodies. 8.
