U.S. Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command, Pacific proposes to contract for the drydock and repair of USCGC COWSLIP, a 180' Buoy Tender, homeported in Astoria, OR. All work will be performed at the contractor's facility during the period of 8 Jan through 1 Mar 1996. Work items include; drydocking, underwater body preservation, sea valve/waster piece inspection, allied D5000 single point davit overhaul and CT winch installation, hull plate renewal, rudder and rudder stock maintenance, bow thruster maintenance, thrust bearing and stern seal inspection, heat exchanger overhaul, electric motor overhaul, vent duct and drain renewal, freeboard preservation and superstructure preservation.
