The Econopack consists of six (6) rolls of barcode label tape and 1 ribbon. The Econopacks are to be used in INTERMEC bar code equipment. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded. All interested parties, must submit a Capabilities Statement that sufficiently describes their qualifications, capabilities, and previous experience relevant to fulfilling the above requirement. This notice is not a Request for Proposal nor an Invitation for Bid. The Government will not pay for information submitted. Any firms that wish to submit a Capabilities Statement must do so within 15 days of this notice. No other notice will be published until award is made. It is anticipated that the Solicitation will be issued on or about October 20, 1995. Once the Solicitation is issued, 30 days will be allowed to respond to it.
