A -- A -- F/A-18 CIT INTEGRATION SOL N00019-94-G-0291 POC Contact, Marina Atchison, Phone (703)604-6100 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to modify an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-94-G-0291 for engineering and logistics support for F/A-18 Combined Interrogator/Transponder (CIT)Idenification Friend/Foe Phase II system integration study to add additional test assest hardware. NAVAIR intends to negotiate this modification to the order with McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the F/A-18 aircraft, and as such, the only firm possessing the technical knowledge and expertise, facilities, and unique aircraft data bases necessary to perform the effort within the required timeframe.
