The Government intends to conduct a BLSM II follow-on Pre-Solicitation conference on Tuesday, 03 Oct 95, at the Air War College Jones Auditorium from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The purpose of this conference, which is a continuation of the 21-22 Sep 95 Pre-Solicitation conference, is to provide more detailed information about the Supply Ordering and Sourcing System (SOSS) as it pertains to the Government's ''Increment One, Task Order 1'' BLSM II project. Also, background on the current supply system (SBSS) and the Supply ''TO BE'' IDEF will be discussed as it relates to the ''Increment One, Task Order 1'' BLSM II project. Those interested in attending must respond in writing to the attention of Contract Specialist Marcie D. Edge or Contracting Officer Dianne C. Ohlandt by facsimile at (334) 416-3434 no later than 29 Sep 95. Offerors who submit a written response after 29 Sep 95 may be considered for attendance but cannot be guaranteed registration for the conference. The Government has decided that the questions/comments submitted in response to the 29 Jun 95 BLSM II DRFP have been ''overcome by events'' because they were either viewed as not applicable anymore (based on the SAF/AQ Lightning Bolt Initiatives) or the Government feels it answered the questions/comments during the 21-22 Sep 95 Pre-Solicitation conference. If any offerors feel that there are still unanswered questions remaining regarding the 19 Sep 95 DRFP even after the conference, we ask that they resubmit written questions to the BLSM II Contracting Officer.
