COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF SEPTEMBER 28,1995 PSA#1441THE MILSATCOM SATELLITE TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM REVIEW POC Mr. Joseph
Schleifer, Contracting Officer, (310) 336-4729; Lt. Scott Bechtloff,
Technical POC, (310) 336-4645. The MILSATCOM Satellite Technology
Program Review MILSATCOM Joint Program Office announces the MILSATCOM
Satellite Technology Program Review. The seminar, scheduled for 15-16
November 1995, at Aerospace Corporation, El Segundo, CA has two
purposes. The first purpose is to promote transfer of technical
information between and among the Government and Industry by providing
a common forum to discuss ongoing satellite technology activities and
concepts for new activities. The second purpose is for the Government
to obtain satellite technology development status from Industry. This
information will be used in further development of the MILSATCOM
Technology Plan. Industry and Government presentations and discussions
should address payload (EHF, SHF, and UHF) and bus technologies
feasible for implementation by 2000 or later. Concept: The objective of
the MILSATCOM Technology Program is to reduce the life cycle cost of
future MILSATCOM systems while meeting defense requirements. The
seminar will focus on payload and bus advanced technology being
developed by Government and Industry. (Terminal and satellite ground
control issues will be addressed at the next technology seminar in
April 1996. However, you are welcome to submit new projects in these
areas.) The information presented at this seminar will directly support
the MILSATCOM Technology Program and future development programs. The
seminar will also provide a unique opportunity for the MILSATCOM
community, both Industry and Government, to discuss advanced concepts
for future systems and ongoing efforts to achieve these goals. Seminar:
The seminar will be held 15-16 November 1995 at Aerospace Corporation,
2350 El Segundo Blvd, El Segundo, CA, Building A-8, starting at 8:30

payload and bus of future MILSATCOM systems. Presentations and
discussions should address payload (EHF, SHF, and UHF) and bus
technologies feasible for implementation by 2000 or later. Government
presentations at the seminar will include MILSATCOM requirements and
technology developments. At the seminar, Industry presenters are

concept(s). A Government-only audience may be requested. Industry
