New 10 story elevator towers will be created from the lowest level of the building through two existing floors and to the roof line of the building in an existing courtyard. New construction includes 1) poured in place foundations, 2) structural steel framing, 3) an exterior insulation and finish system sheathing system, 4) extension of existing utilities to provide heating ventilating and air conditioning systems for the elevator machine rooms, sub-basement equipment spaces and elevator lobbies, 5) extension of existing electrical system (normal and emergency) for elevator systems, lighting and power for elevator lobbies and equipment spaces, 6) alterations to areas in existing building to provide access to new elevator lobbies, 7) plumbing for newly created sub-basement spaces, 8) extension of existing fire alarm and sprinkler system into new structure, and 9) new electric traction, passenger elevators including new basement mounted, geared hoisting machines, new m-g sets, new group controllers with normal power and emergency power connections and new elevator cars.
