Buyer: PR-NO: 00000000000000 PSN 95-10 the Defense Industrial Supply Center (DISC) proposes to contract for the distribution of Commercial aviation hardware in Federal supply classes 5305, 5306, 5307,5310, 5315, 5320, 5325, 5330, 5335, 5340, 5360, and 5365. The Defense Industrial Supply Center (DISC) is one of several inventory control points (icps) for the Department of Defense whic purchases millions of Commercial aviation fasteners annually for its many Military customers worldwide. DISC is looking for sources that Carry existing inventory for fulfillment of Commercial orders at the retail level. Both manufacturing sources and dealers are sought. DISC will select qualifying distributors to deliver the the products directly to its customers at reasonableprices, and within Short lead times. The anticipatedaward(S) will require the contractor to maintainsuffient inventory in order to fulfill multiple and recurring Military requistions from its ''off-the shelf'' Commercial Stock on an ongoing basis. Special conditions for emergency requirements will be considered. Orders are to be issued electronically. Interested concerns are invited to respond to this anouncement on or before October 18.
