construction of a new 28,000 square foot one story New Training Center
and miscellaneous site improvements at the Cassadaga Job Corps Center
located in Cassadaga, New York. The building is designed to house
classrooms, offices and heavy vocational trades. The building will be
constructed on an sloping site and will require some clearing of trees.
A variety of interior finishes will be provided in the building. Site
utility work includes connections to the existing sewer and water main
system as well as construction of a new underground electrical
distribution lines. Work requires demolition of the existing building
including removal and disposal of demolished material (some asbestos
and lead containing material). Regrading of the site will be also
required to site the building. The time estimated for construction is
280 calendar days to substantial completion. The estimated cost range
for construction is between $1 million to $5 million. Plans and
specifications will be available on or about October 12, 1995, from the
office of Beardsley, Beardsley, Cowden & Glass, 64 South Street, P.O.

Collect calls will not be accepted. It is emphasized that requests for
plans and specifications shall be directed to the A/E firm listed
above to ensure proper handling of requests. All requests must be in
writing. Plans and specifications are available for pick-up at the
above-mentioned A/E's office. Requests will be answered on a
first-come, first-serve basis until supplies are exhausted. For
requests made after the supply is exhausted. For requests made after
the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether
payment of a fee is warranted. The non-refundable fee shall not exceed
the actual cost of duplication of the IFB documents, plus COD charges.
A Pre-Bid walk-through is scheduled for October 26, 1995, at 10:00
a.m., local time. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside acquisition.
