Correction: This synopsis is corrected as follows: Collocate Open Mess, Project No. CZQZ92-3014 at Cannon AFB, New Mexico. Project includes the construction of an addition to the existing Officer's Open Mess to relocated the Enlisted Open Mess and remodeling of the existing Officer's Open Mess. Work for the Basic Bid Item includes sitework, demlition operations, a new brick veneer building addition with a structural system consisting of a ribbed mat foundation, steel columns and beams, bar joists, and metal deck. The roof is a gravel ballasted 4-ply asphalt built-up on rigid insulation over metal deck. Interior partitions are gypsum wallboard on metal studs. This project includes both new and Government furnished kitchen equipment. This project includes nine option items. Magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Performance time is 270 calendar days for the basic bid item and an additional 41 calendar days as stated in the IFB if Option items are awarded. The solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis. This is a non-appropriated fund purchase and does not obligate funds to the United States Government. Non-appropriated funds are generated by the military community through sale of goods and services and collection of fees and charges for participation in the military community programs. This purchase does not include Federal tax dollars. Firms should indicate whether they are women owned, small, or large business concerns. Also firms should state if they are interested as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor. There is a nonrefundable charge of $115.00 for this solicitation. Checks shall be made payable to the Non-appropriated Manager, Cannon AFB, NM and must be included in your request for this solicitation. IFB will be issued on or about 5 Oct 95. Site Visit is scheduled for 17 Oct 95. Bid opening is set for 7 Nov 95. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered. Only written requests will be accepted.
