Pierce (410) 278-7435 (Site Code DAAD05) The Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen Pulse Radiation Facility (APRF), has a requirement for Nuclear Engineering Research and Development services on a Task Order basis for a base year and four (4) one-year options. The contractor shall perform tasks to (1) design changes to the APRF nuclear critical facility (2) develop complete industry approved proposed modification documentation packages and (3) perform neutron and gamma radiation effects characterization investigations of new detectors, electronic photonic and electro-optical materials and devices. Much of the work under this contract will be performed on-site.
