The Dallas Office of the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) is seeking to identify a prospective contractor to assist in the disposal of furniture, fixtures, and equipment. The required services will include, but not be limited to: (1) inventory of FF&E; (2) transportation of FF&E to storage; (3) storage of FF&E until disposal; and (4) disposition through direct sale, sealed bid, or at auction. The specific assets for liquidation will be identified by RTC/FDIC. The Contractor will visit the site location, confer with RTC/FDIC personnel, formulate and make recommendations to RTC/FDIC regarding a disposition strategy. Following approval by RTC/FDIC, the Contractor will conduct inventory procedures, arrange for moving services if required, arrange for storage of the assets if necessary, and liquidate the inventory by the most expeditious and cost effective method that maximizes RTC/FDIC recovery. Responses to this notice must be prepared in the form of a letter (maximum two (2) pages) on official company letterhead and signed by an officer of the company, including the solicitation number #0760-95- 0131, and the company's tax identification number. The letter should, additionally, describe the firm's specific qualifications and expertise to perform the services described above. You must also indicate whether your firm is a minority or women-owned business. The contract resulting from this solicitation may be subject to the RTC Completion Act which requires subcontracting a certain percentage of the work to Minority and Women Owned Businesses (MWOB). It is the intent of the RTC to distribute a solicitation to all qualified respondents to this advertisement. Firms not responding by the designated deadline or in accordance with this advertisement will not be included in the solicitation list.
