The contractor shall provide all services, materials, supplies, supervision, labor, insurance and equipment, except that specified as Government furnished, to perfrom Mail Center services at designated buildings and sites for the Defense Mapping Agency and its tenants located within a ten mile radius in St. Louis. The contractor will be responsible for all planning, programming, administration and management of the DMA Mail Center and Mobile Distribution Service (MDS) mail truck. The Government furnished facilities provided consist of approximately 1600 square feet of designated office space. The contractor is responsible for maintaining physical security for facilities and property under his control. The contractor will have access to a shared dock area located approximately 300 feet from the mail center. The contractor will be responsible for classified and unclassified inbound and outbound USPS mail, accountable mail and small package freight from commercial carriers, just-in-time supply deliveries and intrabase mail at an estimated rate of 31,900 peices inbound weekly and an estimated rate of 1,800 pieces of classified and unclassified USPS mail and small package freight outbound weekly. Normal working hours will be Monday through Friday, 0630-1500 hours, except for legal public holidays. The contractor shall provide a project manager physically present at the mail cneter. The project manager shall have a secret clearance. All personnel and subcontractor personnel shall be able to meet the minimum SECRET security clearance/access requirements. The contract will be one year with four one-year options. Greatest value evaluation procedures, which require past performance of this type service, will be used in the evaluation of all proposals submitted. (0271)
