NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center intends to issue RFP5-44406/999 to obtain the following services: provide data from ground-based instruments for the validation of satellite-derived uv-b flux estimates, compare long-term record of satellite-derived uv-b with robertson-berger meter data, and provide laboratory measurements of the refractive indices of various types of absorbing aerosols in the ultraviolet. These aeresols should include samples taken from desert dust, urban smog, biomass burning, and volcanic ash. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of their capability, including detailed technical information and other technical literature, demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirements within 15 days of the publication of this notice to the above address. The response shall be sufficient to permit agency analysis to establish bona fide capability to meet these requirements. This procurement is reserved for small business. This Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3674, with a small business size classification of 500. Quotations received from a small business will be considered.
