Work (SOW). The Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service, is
seeking comments from industry on the draft statement of work (SOW) for
the Treasury Distributed Processing Infrastructure (TDPI) which will be
the successor to the Treasury Multiuser Acquisition Contract (TMAC). It
is anticipated that TDPI will be a 5 year, government-wide agency
contract (GWAC) for the acquisition peripherals, software packages,
maintenance and training. The Government anticipates release of a draft
Request for Proposals (RFP) in November 1995, and release of the formal
RFP in January 1996. The draft SOW is available on the Internal Revenue
Service's Procurement Bulletin Board System (BBS). Please follow these

799-0943. Your system must be set at the following defaults: Baud Rate
of 9600, No Parity, 8 Databits, 1 Stop Bit. The system will prompt you
for your name, business name and address, the kind of system you are
using, user ID, and a password of your choice. At the Main System Menu
the following will appear ''Make your selection (T,F,E,etc...):'' Type
''L'' and press the (ENTER) key. Type ''S'' to select a library and
press another (ENTER) key. Type ''RFP'' and press the (ENTER) key. Type
''F'' and press the (ENTER) key to list files. Press the (ENTER) key to
view the list of files. Type ''C'' to view the files list. Download the
file ''SECC-DO1.EXE''. The draft SOW is also available on the Internal
Revenue Service's IS (Information Systems) Support Bulletin Board
System (BBS). To access please dial the following number: (202)
219-9835. Your system must be set at the following defaults: Baud Rate
of 9600, No Parity, 8 Databits, 1 Stop Bit. The system will prompt you
for your name, business name and address, the kind of system your are
using, user ID, and a password of your choice. Type ''L'' for Library
option at the Support Main Menu and press the (ENTER) key. Type ''S''
to select a library, type ''TDPI'' and press the (ENTER) key. Select
''D'' for download optio and download the file ''SECC-DO1.EXE''. The
systems are operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. An electronic copy
of the draft SOW will be mailed to anyone who cannot access the BBS;
please send a written request to the contracting officer at the address
specified above. Written comments on the draft SOW must identify the
paragraph number, discuss the issue, support the recommended changes,
and provide the proposed revised text. The comments must be submitted
within 30 calendar days of the appearance of this synopsis, in
WordPerfect 5.1 on 3 1/2'' diskette, to the contracting officer at the
address specified above. Before incurring any cost, interested firms
are advised that the draft SOW may undergo further revisions as a
