The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) intends to procure access to the LEXIS/NEXIS automated legal research systems under the Library of Congress' FEDLINK Basic Ordering Agreement for FY 96. The on-line computerized legal data base includes, in full text, the following files: United States Code, Federal Court Decisions, including Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, District Court, Court of Claims, Court of Customs, and Patent Appeals; SEC Rules, Regulations and Administrative Determinations; Legislative History for public lawsand House, Senate and Conference Reports; Patent, Trademark, and Copyright cases; State material and others. The service period will be from award through September 30, 1996. No solicitaiton document exists. Responses to this solicitation document will be issued as a result of this synopsis.
