S.I.C. 8712. Provide Architect/Engineer Services for a fully developed set of drawings and specifications, 2 site visits and construction period services to correct fire deficiencies at the VA Medical Center, Perry Point, Maryland. (Work includes but is not limited to archetectical, electrical, and mechanical work, with a firm construction cost estimate. Some work is as follows: Provide additional sprinkler coverage in building 11H, 80H and 82H; Provide new fire stair with approved covered access from the second and third floors of building 4-Research; Install fire rated doors in various buildings; Install fire rated partition and door/frame in building 361, Medical Records storage area; Install a replacement fire alarm system throughout building 24H and 25H.) Estimated construction cost range is $250,000 - $500,000. Area of consideration is restricted to firms located within a 120-mile radius of Perry Point (Perryville), Maryland. Interested firms must submit an updated SF-254 and SF-255 to the Contracting Officer (90C), VA Medical Center, Building 101, Room 26B, Perry Point, Maryland 21902, no later than close of business (4:30 P.M. local time) on November 7, 1995 (See note numbered 24).
