The U.S. Geological Survey requirestechnical editing, typemarking, graphics preparation, proofing, manuscript keyboarding and disk cleanup, repro (camera copy) checking, blueline (printer's proof) and advance copy checking for publications. These services involve scientific and technical publications on diverse topics, including but not limitedto regional, environmental, structural, economic, marine and glacial geology; geomorphology; geochemistry; geophysics; astrogeology; paleontology; stratigraphy;petrology; satellite imagery; undersea imagery; climate change; computer applications; and water resources, and require college degreed (4 yrs) editors withexperience in these fields. Supporting editorial personnel (editorial clerks, illustrators, etc.) Pick up and delivery service is required. Award of multipleindefinite-quantity type contract is contemplated. This procurement will be for abase period of 12 months with 4 option years.
