Winland, Contracting Officer, 601/377-3642 This project consists of the construction of approximately 2800 square foot Wellness Center, including but not limited to, sitework, roof, ceiling, carpet, HVAC, electrical, EIFS and all interior features, located at Keesler AFB, Mississippi. Magnitude of proposed construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,00.00. This action is being considered for 100% set aside for small disadvantaged buisness (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible, but no later then 12 Oct 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantated business concern, evidence of capability to obtain required bonds and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestrictive basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested form all interested business concerns as from small disadvantaged business concerns. Project requirements will be made available on or about 19 Oct 95. The estimated bid opening date is 21 Nov 95. Cost for the IFB package is $45.00, which should be submitted with the request by certified check or money order only, made out to Keesler Accounting and Finance Office.
