The Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, GA, has a requirement for a rigid frame Prefabricated Relocatable Structure (PRS) to be used as a dining facility for athletes with physical disabilities at the 1996 Paralympic Games in Atlanta, GA. Requirement includes purchase of the PRS; purchase, installation,, disassembly, and repackaging of internal lighting and electrical systems for the PRS; purchase or lease of a PRS air conditioning system to include installation and disassembly; technical representative on site during installation, disassembly, and repackaging of the PRS by Marine Corps personnel at Paralympic Village (PV); option items for installation, disassembly, and repackaging of the PRS at PV; and an option item for a technical representative on site during reinstallation of the PRS at Blount Island Command, Jacksonville, FL. FOB PV at Georgia Tech, Atlanta, GA. Access to the PV for delivery and installation is June 10-30, 1996. PRS must be installed and fully functional with air conditioning/electrical systems on June 30, 1996. Access for disassembly, repackaging, site restoration and removal is August 30, 1996 through September 13, 1996. The PRS shall have 25,000 square feet plus or minus 2,500 square feet of floor space and must comply with all local, county and jurisdictional building codes. The PRS shall also comply with all federal standards including the Americans With Disabilities Act accessibility guidelines. Construction plans and specifications must be sealed by a state of Georgia registered structural engineer. It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued on or about October 23, 1995.
