58 -- ADVANCED CREW SERVED WEAPON SIGHT/LASER ILLUMINATOR SYSTEM SOL N00164-96-R-0003 DUE 121495 POC Contact Mr. Don Ellison, 812-854-5774 Advanced Crew Served Weapon/Laser Illuminator System (ACSWS/LIS) in accordance with Statement of Work and Performance Specification. The ACSWS/LIS shall be a high performance night vision system for nighttime target acquisition and engagement. The ACSWC/LIS shall consist of a modified AN/TVS-5 night vision sight, Laser Illuminator (LI) and shipping/storage case. The modified AN/TVS-5 incorporates a third generation 25 millimeter image intensifier tube, a biocular eyepiece, improved reticle adjusters and mounting bracket. The LI is a high power laser device with a circular or rectangular illumination field and projected reticle. The solicitation shall require the submittal of technical proposals. The contractor shall deliver a production quantity of 19 each ACSWS/LIS 120 days after contract (DAC) award. An option quantity for an additional 450 each ACSWS/LISs shall be included with deliveries to commence 150 DAC at a rate of 20 per month. Shipments shall be made F.O.B. destination to Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
