The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement for two generators and associated electronics for high power operations in USS Dolphin, a research submarine. The equipment must provide 1,000 hp of direct current to the DC bus, be no larger in volume than the current equipment, be capable of installation without a hull cut (entry through a twenty-five inch hatch), and be delivered by July, 1996.
