The Metropolitan Detention Center, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, is seeking qualified individuals capable to provide Dental Assistant services to inmates of the facility. Prior correctional setting experience is desirable. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing chairside assistance in restorative, prothodontic, periodontic, endodontic and oral surgery procedures. Services will be required from Date of Award or October 1, 1995, whichever is later for the Base Year with four (4) Option Year Periods. These services will be rendered in side the Metropolitan Detention Center, Guaynabo. The requirement will consist of five (5) sessions a week, each sessions is defined as six (6) hours. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 am through 2:30 pm. Number of sessions may vary depending on the need; however, bidders will be given a reasonable expectation of the requirements. Area of consideration is limited to Puerto Rico. Individuals are requested to contact the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. All requests for the solicitation shall be in writing. The estimated issue date of the solicitation is October 13, 1995, with an anticipated receipt of offers date of November 13, 1995.
