requires the replacement of electrical service for runway 32R
localizer, 14L Glide Slope and 14L Approach Lighting System with
Sequenced Flashing Lights, at O'Hare International Airport, Chicago,
Illinois. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the
following: 1) Construction of transclosure concrete pad. 2)
Installation of underground ducts between transclosure and CECO
manhole. 3) Removal of messenger cable and poles over willow creek. 4)
Cut-over power of Approach Lighting System/Instrument Landing System.
5) Miscellaneous civil and electric work as shown on the contract
documents. Bid documents are expected to be available on or about
October 27, 1995. Bid opening is anticipated on or about December 6,

any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding
Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and
performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an
80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program
(STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable
