The work includes site grading, construction of a foundation, construction of a new bolted or welded steel 500,000-gallon potable water tank, and incidental related work. The Standard Industrial Code for this project is 1791; the small business size standard is $7.0M. The estimated cost range of this procurement is between $200,000 and $400,000. The proposed solicitation listed here is being considered for 100% small disadvantaged business (SDB) set-aside. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than 19 Oct 95, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Office above in writing the following: (1) evidence of capability to perform, including name and telephone number of references on similar type projects performed in the last three years; (2) a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern; and (3) company's single project and aggregate bonding capability.
