Scope of work consists, but is not strictly limited to, providing all labor, material, equipment and supervision as necessary to convert existing areas of the Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse basement to offices for the U.S. Marshals, U.S. Courts and storage areas. The work will include to providing all associated HVAC, plumbing, waste piping, electrical, and fire protection to support these spaces. Renovate incoming domestic water service, remove water service cross-connections, and provide new wet standpipes and fire department hose cabinets. Remove chimney, patch the roof, and renovate existing offices on the first floor to become part of the Judge's support facilities. Also, as options to the base contract, work consists to providing a dedicated two stop shuttle elevator, empty conduit for a future security system and vehicle sally port. Completion time for this project is three hundred (300) calendar days from receipt of Notice To Proceed. Estimated financial range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Specifications will be available on or about October 16, 1995. Sealed bids will be opened publicly on November 15, 1995 at 2:00 P.M. (local time.) The proposed contract is being solicited on a total Small Business Set-Aside basis. Bids are solicited only from small business concerns. Bids received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1542, with an industry small business size standard of an average annual gross revenue of $17.0 million for the last three (3) years.
