Z -- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE TO ALERT CONTRACTORS OF A FORTHCOMING SOLICITATION FOR UPGRADE LIQUID OXYGEN AND NITROGEN FACILITY, BUILDING 191 AT THE NAVAL AIR STATION, LEMOORE, CALIFORNIA Sol N62474-95-B-3609. The work includes removal of existing liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen tanks and associated piping and electrical wiring, removal of chain link fence, removal of concrete slabs, relocation of one emergency eyewash/shower station and one LN2 ambient vaporizer, installation of Government furnished tanks, construction of new piping and electrical wiring, concrete slabs, disposal pits and chain link fence. This is a firm fixed price contract. Potential bidders should request IFB N62474-95-B-3609 in writing. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but no later than 10 calendar days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing the Contracting Officer above evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued unrestricted without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Tentative issue date on or about 20 November 1995 with opening date 30 days later.
