SAUCEDA Contracting Officer or Contract Specialist LANNIE PENDER (913) 239-0460 (Site Code DAKF19) Resolicitation to Furnish and Install an Enhanced 911 Emergency Notification System and an Emergency Service Provider Alert Notification System, with one (1) year Data Base Maintenance. The Contractor shall provide technical assistance and training in accordance with the contract specifications. The system will support three (3) telephone operating systems. The Contractor shall provide a system that is compatible with the two (2) Government owned GTE GTD-5MV Electronic Switches providing service to the 239 Prefix subscribers, as well as the electronic switch utilized by United Telephone of Kansas to provide service to the 784 Prefix subscribers. The Government owned GTE GTD-5MV switches operation software is 3131 and does not provide feature transparency between the switches. The Contractor shall obtain the Emergency Service Bureau - Right to Use from GTE and coordinate with GTE for trunking translation changes. Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 18 Oct 95 with bid opening on or about 20 Nov 95. Proposed contract will be a firm fixed price contract. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 5805. The small business size standard for the project is 100 employees.
