Williams, Contract Specialist, 501/212-4401 FAX 501/212-4419 (Site Code DAHA03) Provide all plan, labor, material, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to construct a 34,000 SF Base Supply Complex consisting of a 29,000 SF Supply Warehouse, 4,000 SF Supply Storage Shed and a 1,000 SF POL OPS (Fuels Supv/Ready Room). Project is to be reinforced concrete foundation and floor slab, masonry walls, structural steel framing and roof structure, all utilities and support. Provide paved open storage area. Project is NOT designed. This is a presolicitation notice only. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. An Invitation for Bid is anticipated to be issued o/a 1 June 1996 and a Notice to Proceed issued o/a 21 August 1996. Construction time is anticipated to take approx. 330 days after notice to proceed. Interested concerns should as early as possible, but not later than 20 calendar days after publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding as the prime or as a subcontractor on the project, evidence of capability to perform including references for similar work with contract numbers, points of contact, and telephone numbers, and if appropriate a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. In addition, dollar amount of the current construction bonding capability is required. The Contracting Officer will utilize the information received to make a decision to issue a solicitation as a set- aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) or as ''UNRESTRICTED'' without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all interested business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Replies must indicate the firm's size status such as large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, or 8 (a). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1541. The applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more than $17,000,000 average annual revenue for the previous three years.
