The cores shall consist of 8 foot cores for a total width of 16 feet and be constructed so as to have aluminum profiles with replaceable wear plastic inserts that can be easily replaced. The aluminum rails shall be one piece design. The plastic inserts are designed to be the wear part of the cores- not any other part of the core. The core shall be designed to have an overall tip to tip bristle diameter of 46 inches. Provide 6 boxes, Cassette Brushes (replacement bristles), part number 1646WB 72/20-36/18 45M; The replacement bristles shall be so designed to fit properly into the cores and be an authorized replacement part by the manufacturer of the cores. The replacement bristle sections shall be approximately 33 inches in length, have 20 tufts of 0.045 mm wire -zinc coated. The wire tufts shall be inserted into plastic cups and fastened to the bristle section. The sections shall be constructed from plastic with a metal cap inserted for strengthening the section. The wire tufts shall be approximately 11 inches in length. The proposed procurement listed herein is set aside for 100% Small Business Concerns. Simplified acquisition procedures will be followed.
