The U.S Army (PM NV/RSTA) is seeking sources of supply for a Target Receiver, Training Device for a directed energy weapon (DEW) program. The Target Receiver must interface with vehicle sighting optics. Ruggedness is required to support individual, squad, and platoon training requirements. The target receiver, training device must provide target detection and hit indication when acquired and engaged using DEW acquisition and engagement training devices. It must simulate detection of optical and electro-optical targets when acquired. It must detect laser energy when engaged, process laser codes for target hit indication, and control target hit effects that prevent use of the sighting optics for a specified time period. Interested sources in this effort who have sufficient technical, production, and major program managerial experience in this area are invited to respond indicating in detail their technical, production and managerial experience.
