Lewis, Contract Specialist, (520)328-6124 Requirement for automated block digestion system to perform wet digestions using nitric and sulfuric acids. A method of automating these digestions and trapping the fumes generated isrequired. The system shall consist of the following: 2 EA. Blockdigestion systems with programmable controller, for a minimum of 40 test tubes; 2 EA. Exhaust manifolds to Collect and remove the fumesfrom the 40 test tubes; 2 EA. Lift systems, complete with accessories and automatic operation from the programmablecontroller; 1 EA. Scrubber unit, able to scrub the fumes from two block digestion systems using an exhaust manifold and having automatic control from the programmable controler; 2 EA extra tube rack to the fit the block digestor and; 4 EA. Test tubes. The systems with all components listed above shall be a complete workable system, to include all accessories, brackets, cables, and options required to provide a complete automated system.
